Harry @ CKC Rd 4

If you know Harry Arthur then you know that he does everything with a smile and Round 3 at CKC was no different, with the prospect of a damp drying track for the morning sessions Harry and “Reaper” went out for a gentle practice knowing that this was a day for tyre choices especially early on and the team have recently been pretty strong with the marginal calls on tyres.

Harry spent all the heats as one of the top 4 in times and generally in the same track position, the Final saw him finish 5th overall, caught up behind another kart if he had passed he would have closed down the top 3 within 4 laps but it’s a great finish and reflects his efforts.

Harry recently has been spending a lot more time on the kart and this year the leap forward is impressive, his best times of the day brought him within 2 tenths of the front running three but on track due to experience he was held up by slower traffic and couldn’t quite gauge the overtaking point, we of course will ensure he has that sorted for the next round safe in the knowledge that at the moment he is a fair bit closer that his rivals realise, wearing his Dartford Racing Engine badges proudly we expect Harry to be moving forward as Reaper wanders off for some TLC from Matt Charters, when the two meet again then Harry will be looking at potential podiums.
