Zain @ CKC - Training Report

Zain was having his 3rd track session with us and like Henry will be with us into 2017, he is a confident young character who listens and made a point of watching what was going on in the experienced Honda grid after his sessions.

Having to join the unlicensed session can be something of an experience but his confident driving style kept him away from a lot of the busier karts and he had the chance to get his head around the line and speed up a little, his first few sessions were ‘sighters’ and once he had his head into the track we just had to keep him progressing.

The day’s sessions were spent improving lap times and sweetening the lines, Zain enjoyed the challenges set and on averaged improved his times by up to 4 secs during sessions completing the day only 3 secs down on his group, a commendable effort overall.

Zain is beginning to understand the line well, he is prepared to commit the kart but at the moment possibly a little too quick into some sections, he kept the kart under control however and was quicker than other karts by the end of the day, that itself was a remarkable achievement.

Zain has been working hard to improve his driving, his efforts away from the track will be reflected in results yet to come.
