Luke @ Llandow

As Luke's preparation for S1 continnues this season, Russ packed up the race van and headed west to Llandow to get some practice in at the club round before the S1 circus comes to visit.

Practice raised a few eyebrows with 3x red flags in just 2 laps of a 3 lap warm up, while an over enthusiastic marshall was seen waving the red and yellow flags at the same time!

Luke continues to grow as a driver, demonstrated by just how quickly he was able to learn the track and get on race pace. The random heats threw up a bunch of middle order starts and lots of work to do but still managed to qualify 7th in the final. However, Luke appears to have picked up some of Ethan's luck from last season, on the first lap he was 'mounted' from behind with the other kart hooking up on the back bumper of Luke. By the time the karts had been freed they were 3/4 lap down on the rest of the pack. Despite posting laps just 3ths off the fastest Luke was only able to get back to cross the line in 14th. Not quite the result that his pace was showing but hopefully thats got all his bad luck out of the way before the S1 round.
