Harry @ CKC - Roy Mortara

Round 9 saw the newly crowned F6 Champion arrive to sunshine and the Roy Mortara cup races, with Camberley enjoying its largest grids of the year as always with this well attended event Harry was look forward to the challenge, and hopeful of taking it to the front runners.

This turned out to be Harry’s finest CKC round in terms of times and track positions, his efforts were noted by our regular green friendly rivals who all seemed to be a lacking a little top end at this meeting, Harry made the most and for the heats spent most of his time running around in the top four positions and spent most of H2 two leading until tyre pressures slowed his cornering and Ruben took his chance and drove by.

Harry had been working hard in all the heats and managed to bruise his ribs in the process, this sadly ruined his final as he had to retire in pain a third of the way through, immensely pleased with his efforts and pace Harry went home satisfied albeit somewhat sore, he will be up and running soon and will be ready to roll soon.

“I had a really great day, shame it ended early but with the F6 and today it was too much to continue, kart was great and the racing was good fun too”

Well done ‘Hazza’
