All the J's @ CKC

With three Honda’s and a Bambino arriving at CKC for practice in the sun it was going to be a great day of practice, learning and refinement of the basics for all the boys. With Jonathon still getting used to his bambino kart, James was looking to get his times ready for his ARKS test. Jack and Jamie were pushing the clock and the only thing to get in the way was the boys excitement at getting on the track, with James bouncing around and Jack close behind teaching 8 year olds is fun but often leaves you needing a very large Costa!

Following a good track walk, we set about the sessions with all the lads making good pace, generally all the lads were high order in the mixed Bambino/Honda group and despite some “lively” moments improved in areas of importance and all showed signs of being able to compete well in the near future. Just after lunch we had the ultimate team nightmare when Jamie span, James spun trying to avoid Jamie and then Jack arrived at the scene of the accident! Jack saw that the track blocked by Veneno novices, luckily Jonathon was some way back so we only grabbed the hat trick but it was nobody’s fault and when you have that many team karts on one small track it’s going to happen isn’t it Murphy!

Saturday was on the whole a good day with progress of differing levels but full of smiles and more new friends made – top job lads
