Luke @ Whilton

Luke popped up to Daventry for the Whilton Mill round and despite spending Saturday paddling round the highly regarded circuit he pushed hard on the race day getting a 17th from a 31st place start and two 7th place finishes he managed a credible 12th overall which easily could have been 9th had it not been for some ‘jostling’ at Christmas.

Luke’s results for 2015 have reflected his experience against drivers with generally three years on him, taking into account he began this journey in earnest at the end of 2014 and you can begin to comprehend the potential for success, becoming a great racer at a single circuit or two over a number of years remains a challenge but is possible for most able drivers, mastering 95 % of the country’s tracks and being able to stay in the top dozen in year 1 is an exceptional development and hopefully will give Luke a great grounding for year 2.

We return with straight karts soon – keep it flat !
