Holly @ Clay IKR
An overcast & windy Clay Pigeon welcomed the IKR racers on Saturday morning.
A track walk showed that there was a very strong headwind blowing along the main straight which was going to cause a few issues, we were already running different set-up to usual so had to try & allow for this without knowing where we were at without the wind!
After a tiring day last Tuesday at Thruxton getting her braking/cornering sorted Holly was more than up for the challenge of the IKR grid.
15 mixed Honda/IAME cadets is a good size and gave her some great racing. Heat 2 was a tough battle but she held off some more experienced drivers to get a 7th and with a 12th & 11th in the other heats she started 10th on the grid. After a little bit of switching around & some good overtakes to get places back that’s where she finished too!
